With an immense love for the science behind beauty, founder Lucile Battail shared that as a child she much preferred mixing and creating her own potions than playing with dolls. During her thesis project as a pharmacy student, Lucile was inspired to create a handcrafted, organic and fresh skincare line that was made to order in a matter of minutes, thus LABOTÉ was born. With two years of research and a patent under her belt, Lucile brought her thesis project to fruition in 2015 and launched the product a little over a year ago. Since then, she has opened up her very own storefront in the sixth arrondissement where skincare lovers alike can stop in and watch the magic happen. And for a limited time, you can visit her pop-up in Galeries Lafayette Haussmann until April 1, 2018.

LABOTÉ strives to cater to your every need when it comes to skincare, making it a bespoke and meaningful experience. This tailor-made process not only provides maximum efficacy but promotes sustainability by making the right amount, just for you. During your appointment, a trained skincare expert will guide you through the entire process of how your product is made. They offer all of the necessities such as, face wash, day cream, night cream and a serum. After evaluating your skin and educating you about your own unique skin type, you will go through an extensive list of 100% fresh and natural ingredients that will eventually be made into your ideal skincare product. Once you decide on the perfect cocktail of ingredients you will begin to choose all of the extra fun stuff that goes into skincare from texture to scent to packaging. After finalizing the perfect potion, LABOTÉ will handcraft your product(s) in a matter of minutes—7 minutes to be exact.
