Veja is a Paris based sneaker company that operates on a transparent business model with the aim being to set the standard higher for fashion brands. The Veja brand encourages eco-farming, supporting workers/farmers rights, campaigning against deforestation, and overall, sustainable process in which they produce their products.

Veja works with many small family farmers in poor regions of Brazil to harvest organic cotton and wild rubber. This partnerships also stimulates the economy in these communities as they pay their workers fair wages at 30-100% above the world market price. Veja works on a zero stock production to avoid any of their materials going to waste. Their website includes all the details of their supply chain, as well as aspects of their production that they would like to improve on. The prices of their sneakers match the prices of many other popular shoe brands like Nike and Adidas, while the actual cost of their shoe is much more since they source the materials ethically. Overall, Veja is a great example of a sustainable fashion brand with very fashionable products. Veja has fourteen stores all over Paris and sells their products in bigger department stores like Galleries Lafayette and Printemps.
