Monsieur Poulet

Monsieur Poulet is an organic cotton t-shirt company located here in Paris. Their products range from baby bibs, women's bags, children’s t-shits, men's sweatshirts, and much more. They promise a product made from 100% organic cotton, meaning “it's zero risk for you and your little ones: heavy metals, formaldehyde, GMO enzymes and carcinogenic amines are prohibited.” Their cotton criteria focus on five specific qualifications: The good management of hazardous waste, the safe storage of hazardous liquids, the non-use of toxic products, the environmental awareness of employees and customers, and the monitoring of energy consumption. Although they “never considered ourselves saviors, nor as green activists” their practices say otherwise. Reflecting on their mission, their product line "seemed obvious to us that our project reflects our values while respecting nature and people.” Monsieur Poulet pledges that “the cotton used in the manufacturing of our products is certified Global Organic Standard Textile (GOTS), this label allows us to guarantee the biological origin of the fibers and ensures that at all stages of production and processing of the textile the production processes used be socially responsible and respectful of the environment.” Monsieur Poulet's designs “offer products of quality, ethical, creative and sometimes even funny.”
