asap — As Sustainable As Possible

As Sustainable As Possible (also known as "asap") is a small boutique hailing from Milan, Italy. specializing in sustainable fashion. Asap is currently working on five projects to promote sustainability and ethical fashion. Their current projects include: a (limited edition) recycled collection, a 100% natural line, a reversible collection, vegetable tanned leather goods and a natural dyed cashmere collection.

Recycled Collection: This limited edition collection consists of handmade accessories made from salvaged yarn and fabric from prestigious Italian factories. The range carries accessories from scarves to gloves to eye masks.

100% Natural: This line showcases precious fabrics such as yak, cashmere, camel, silk and linen by leaving them in their natural state. The line keeps these fabrics from being dyed with toxic chemicals that alter the fabric, allowing these garments to leave a low environmental impact.

Reversible Collection: This entirely reversible line saves 50% material energy and space. Each garment is completely seamless, reducing its overall consumption and optimizes production.

Vegetable Tanned Leather: Dyeing small leather goods with vegetable tannins instead of the toxic chemicals that are typically used to dye leather, allows for a much more sustainable production of leather. Because no harsh chemicals are used, it makes these accessories biodegradable and hypoallergenic.

Natural Dyed Cashmere: Using natural elements from the earth to dye cashmere allows for a biodegradable and hypoallergenic product. This dyeing process involves using flowers, leaves, berries and roots.
